Overview

The Cai Mep–Thi Vai port is Vietnam's largest deep-water port, where large container ships can dock directly, serving as a gateway for agricultural exports.
Features of agriculture
Pepper cultivation in the Chau Duc district (about 8,000 ha) is the center of agriculture. The pepper grown in volcanic red soil is rich in flavor and is traded as a premium product. Cacao cultivation is also thriving, making it a southern cacao producing area alongside Dong Nai Province.
