Overview
Nghe An is Vietnam's largest province by area and is known as the birthplace of the founding father Ho Chi Minh. With mountainous terrain along the border with Laos and coastal plains, it is a province of diverse natural environments. Home to TH True Milk's large-scale dairy farm, it is also a leader in Vietnam's dairy industry.
Features of agriculture
The large-scale dairy farm that TH Group (TH True Milk) built in Nghe An province is one of the largest in Southeast Asia, raising about 45,000 dairy cows. It has introduced Israeli irrigation technology and serves as a model case for high-tech agriculture.
Citrus fruits (oranges from the Vinh district), tea, and wood chips (eucalyptus and acacia plantations) are also important agricultural products.
