Sao Mai has brought online a US$19 million agricultural-product and herb processing plant in Quang Ngai province. It exports to Europe, the US, Japan, South Korea, and China in a closed loop linked to 10,000 tonnes of annual processing and 2,000 hectares of cultivation land. Having obtained FSSC 22000, FDA, and other certifications, a supplier to Japan with certifications in order has emerged.
