It is also known as a dragon fruit producing area, and the dragon fruit of the Chau Thanh district is famous.<\/p>\n<h2>Features of agriculture<\/h2>\n<p>Rice cultivation is the core industry, producing about 2.8 million tonnes of rice a year. The dragon fruit cultivation area in the Chau Thanh district reaches about 12,000 hectares, making it Vietnam's second-largest dragon fruit producing area after Binh Thuan Province.
