The lotus flower is the province's symbol, and lotus-related industries such as lotus seeds, lotus tea, and lotus-silk products are thriving. Vietnam's first 'rice-paddy art' also began in this province.<\/p>\n<p>It is a major rice producing area and is also known as a famous mango producing area. Cao Lanh mangoes are highly rated within Vietnam.<\/p>\n<h2>Features of agriculture<\/h2>\n<p>Rice cultivation and fruit growing are the two pillars. The lotus cultivation area is about 3,000 hectares, and processed lotus-seed products (lotus seeds in syrup, lotus tea) are distributed throughout Vietnam.
